1958-2021
Since 1958, Helix Inc operated in Red Hill, PA, manufacturing various parts for industry and defense. Over time, it became a little bit…stuck. Making parts took priority over sweeping the floor, building maintenance, improving processes or updating systems.
When ownership changed to Helix Precision Machine at the end of 2021, Helix Inc looked a bit like a graveyard for disabled equipment. The most interesting finds while removing six construction dumpsters from the property included a microfiche machine, a glove catalog from 1980 and an AM radio from the 1950’s.
2021-Forward
After taking over the company, the team at Helix worked tirelessly to move our systems from paper to a cloud-based ERP software while implementing an AS9100D quality management system.
In April 2023, we received our AS9100 certification.
